头部（HEAD）：

眼睛（Eyes）:核桃形。间隔相当大，给人一种开放和警觉的感觉，并向耳根部微微倾斜。被毛和眼睛的颜色没有关系。（Walnut shaped. Spaced rather wide apart giving an open and alert expression, and at a slight angle toward the base of the ears. No relationship between coat and eye color.）
下巴（Chin）:坚挺，但不能太突出,与鼻子对齐.（Firm, but not overly prominent.Aligns with nose.）
嘴（Muzzle）：适中，轮廓柔和，与头部成比例，突出的胡须垫可以接受。（Moderate with gentle contours in proportion with head.Prominent whisker pads are acceptable.）
鼻子（Nose）:长度适中，轻微凹凸可以接受。（Medium in length; slight bump is acceptable.）
形象（Profile）：略微平坦。额头是平的。（Slight stop. Forehead is flat.）
颈部（Neck）：雄性的肌肉结实，雌性的略少。（Firm musculature on males,slightly less on females.）
身体（BODY）：
躯干（Torso）：半厚实的身体类型，背部从肩部到尾部缓缓向上倾斜。胸部圆润，臀部结实。雌性一般比雄性小/轻。可以接受肩胛骨有棱角。（Thicksemi-foreign body, not compact. Back gently slopes upwards from shoulders to tail. Well-rounded chest and firm hips. Females generally smaller/lighter than males. Angulated shoulder blades are acceptable.）
腿部（Legs）：短，从前面或后面看时间隔均匀。前腿上下等长，后腿的大腿和小腿的长度相等，后腿略长。（Short, set evenly apart when viewed from front or back. Upper and lower forelegs equal in length. Hind Legs: Thigh and lower leg approximately equal in length. Back legs slig.）
脚（Feet）：圆形，与身体比例紧凑。四脚直指前方，不向内或向外。（Round, compact in proportion with body. All four feet pointed directly straight forward, not inward or outward.）
尾巴（Tail）：顶端渐变为圆形，在运动时直立，不太粗，与身体的长度相等。（Carried erect when in motion,tapering to a rounded tip. Not overly thick. Length of the body.）
骨骼（Boning）：中等，没有过大的体积。（Medium, without undue bulk.）
肌肉（Musculature）：坚实发达的肌肉力量，雌性不会感到臃肿。（Firmly developed muscular strength, not bulky feeling on females.）
皮毛（COAT）：
长度（Length）:中到短，皮毛可能不那么紧密。（Solids may have a less dense coat.）
长度（Length MKL长毛种）:半长的。
质感（Texture）：半毛绒，全天候，有弹性，中底毛和光泽外观。（Semi-plush, allweather,resilient, with medium undercoat and lustrous appearance.）

Its distinctive short legs developed from a spontaneous autosomal dominant mutation which has occurred several times in the domestic cat. Munchkins exhibit shortening and may have slight bowing of the long bones. The spine is unaffected and similar in form and flexibility to that seen in other domestic cats. The short legs do not hamper mobility or survival ability. The breed has been established from spontaneously occurring domestic cat lines with augmentation by outcrosses to other domestic cats. Munchkins are outgoing, intelligent, and respond well to being handled. They are accepted in both long and short coat lengths. The Munchkin and the Munchkin Longhair are distinguished only by the appearance of the coat, the shorthair having a medium length plush, resilient all-weather coat and the longhair a semi-long silky all-weather coat.）
扣分项（PENALIZE）：0型腿 X型腿 突出的胸骨，过度 短扁 上翘的鼻子或者过长的鼻子以及圆的眼睛和头。（Cowhocking, protruding sternum, snub or excessively long nose.Round eyes. Round head.）
有下列情况将不予授奖（WITHHOLD ALL AWARDS）：矮胖的身体，卷曲的被毛。（Short,cobby body, curly coat.）
取消资格（DISQUALIFY ）：脊柱倾斜，屁股高前腿过低，外观像是公认品种的缩小版。（Sway back. Excessive bowing. Appearance of being a recognized breed miniaturized.） 性格必须是不具攻击性的，任何明确的攻击迹象都将被取消资格。猫咪可能会表现出恐惧，试图逃跑，或大声抱怨，但不能威胁伤害猫咪。根据《表演规则》第十六条，以下情况将被视为强制取消资格：咬人的猫(216.9)，有证据表明有欺骗意图的猫(216.10)，没有两个下睾丸的成年公猫(216.12.11)，尾巴全部或部分缺失的猫咪，除非经过董事会的批准标准(216.12.1)，猫咪前脚每只脚趾超过5个，后脚每只脚趾超过4个，除非有证据证明是受伤所致或符合董事会的批准标准(216.12.2)。可见或不可见的尾巴缺陷，如果符合董事会的批准标准，会被取消资格（216.12.4），交叉的眼睛，如果符合董事会的批准标准，会被取消资格（216.12.5），全盲（216.12.6），明显较小的体型，与品种不符（216.12.9），胸骨凹陷或肋骨本身直径异常小
